Rhonda Schuldt of Passionate Food hosts this bi-weekly segment on Pittsburgh's only morning show.  Celebrating the incredible bounty of locally raised foods that can be found throughout the greater Pittsburgh region, each segment showcases the freshest seasonal ingredients coming from area farms with tips and recipes for making the most of our Local Goodness!

Passionate Food will be teaching two classes this fall at CRATE Cooking School. Join us on:

October 30, 2007 11AM to 2PM  for "Party Between The Sheets."  We'll be making hors d'oeuvres-size goodies, perfect for those holiday gatherings using phyllo, puff pastry and other "sheets."  SORRY, this class is already SOLD OUT...but check back, we may schedule another date. 

November 13, 2007 11AM to 2PM  for "Fishing for Compliments."  You don't have to travel to the coast for delicious fish.  We'll explore various techniques and recipes for preparing delicious dishes with the "fruits of the sea."

March 16, 6:00-9:00PM for "Friday Night at the Movies at CRATE" celebrating the movie "Sideways" with food and wine  despite the weather we had a BLAST at this SOLD OUT class!

April 16, 6:00-9:00PM for "Between the Sheets" A Passionate meal featuring dishes made with Phyllo and Puff Pastry What a GREAT group at this SOLD OUT class...everyone left feeling CONFIDENT in their new-found abilities and full of ideas for using puff pastry and phyllo.  Thanks to you all for a FUN evening!!

 June 14, 11:00AM-1:30PM "A Long Hot Summer" refreshing recipes and cool drinks for those hot summer nights.
